In September 2012, SAFD2 and the Village signed an Interlocal Agreement which authorized SAFD2 to purchase its water from the Village. Because SAFD2 is close to making water available to its customers, the Village Trustees and SAFD2 met on May 12, 2014 to flesh out the details of the financial and operating arrangement. On June 2, 2014 they jointly reviewed the resulting Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with both entities approving signature by their Chair once final comments were incorporated. The MOU was signed on June 10, 2014 and is posted below, along with the 2012 Interlocal Agreement.
SAFD2 held its Annual Meeting on 6/9/14. At that time the Agenda, Chairman's Report, Treasurer's Report and 2014-2015 General Fund Budget were presented (documents below). The budget was adopted. Other business was carried out according to the agenda and will be detailed in minutes to be posted on this website once approved by the Prudential Committee.
At a SAFD2 Special Meeting held on 6/9/14 the Prudential Committee adopted an "Ordinance Relating to the Management, Operation and Protection of the South Alburgh Fire District No. 2 Public Water Supply System".
