This is a photo of one of the Enterprise Trenchless Technologies Inc. crews installing water main by directional bore in the early part of November.

The driller can actually steer the drill bit and thus the pipe through the earth, over, under, and around obstacles!

This technology was used for all of the road crossings to prevent undo wear and tear on the                                                 roads.

Munson Earth Moving is installing pipe at a rapid pace. 36% of the water main, or 9025 linear feet have already been installed. The contractor plans to work till just before Christmas, then break for a winter shutdown.
